Sakura hate was too much
To this day, I barely understand on why people hate on Sakura so much. She's hated more than the villains in their series, and never have I ever seen a female character so degraded by the fandom and whole anime community. I mean it is confirmed studio Pierrot made her unlikable on some parts, but for majority of the series she's just okay? Her character is amazing too, literally raw strength?! Healer too?! Obv huge reasons of it is misogynistic. But holy shit how I wish sakuras character was treated more better.
Sakura had potential. So did other female characters. I think ultimately the problem lies with the author not knowing how to write women, or perhaps having certain preconceived ideas/intentions regarding them.
Any time a girl does something impressive/interesting, it would soon be overshadowed by another male character. Women are written as appet...... reply
