Maybe it's just me, but I genuinely do not care about friendship arcs, side characters, or side couples in romance manhwa. I read for the main couple, not everyone else. The second the story starts focusing on side characters instead of the leads, I lose interest. I'd honestly rather there be no side characters at all.
