I feel worse for women when theyre in a relationship with a secretly gay man.
I'm sorry, I've been rereading the summer hikaru died and it's so obvious the father is gay and everytime people in the fandom talk about it it's all "poor him" "doomed yaoi with hikarus dad" but what about the woman being deceived? What about the woman giving HER body to bring children into the world with a man who is LYING to her. Im sorry but if you're a grown man you have to either decide to stay single or cut off your family and go live your gay man life leave women alone. Obviously I feel sympathy for them but c'mon even if you don't wanna come out just stay single.
People just don't think that you can sympathize with both. The woman isn't the problem here, nor the man. You can feel bad for both. We can't also blame the closet man here cause they're also pressured to settle down and have a family but just not as much as women do. It isn't easy for them to stay single because of Homphobia and how in some countr...... reply

You can feel how you want, but this feels like an over correction in response to the sympathy people have towards gay men. No party is more pitiful than the other, women who get into loveless marriages are already following the contract for cishet monogamy. It's standard, not something extra heinous. I'm happily married to a man who comes from that type of background. 25+ years happily together. He's always teased me, calling me his perfect man. :) It is possible. reply
