I feel worse for women when theyre in a relationship with a secretly gay man.
I'm sorry, I've been rereading the summer hikaru died and it's so obvious the father is gay and everytime people in the fandom talk about it it's all "poor him" "doomed yaoi with hikarus dad" but what about the woman being deceived? What about the woman giving HER body to bring children into the world with a man who is LYING to her. Im sorry but if you're a grown man you have to either decide to stay single or cut off your family and go live your gay man life leave women alone. Obviously I feel sympathy for them but c'mon even if you don't wanna come out just stay single.
The obsession with who has it worse is just a byproduct of hyperconsumerism, but don't let me stop you.
You can pity the gay guy and the straight woman, it's not really that big of a deal. Nor do I honestly think you should feel worse for either, they're in different situations and have different feelings about this.
