I used to pick a few nights a week and designate them as alone nights (me and my roommates would just have silent scroll/reading time with a show or music or something in the background. You can also join clubs and stuff (I’m sure there will be people who will join a yaoi club). One of my sorority sisters is really into bl, so I just fan girl with her! Even if it’s not exactly the same, there are so many familiar and new experiences to enjoy. I know something new can be scary, but it can also be wonderful and fun. My favorite new hobby is board game nights with my friends and I still have time to read like I did in middle and high school. Just go into it with a positive mindset and you will do great
