I'm sorry but faraway home is kinda overrated.... People be spamming the "if I were a woman loving you wouldn't be a sin" everywhere sobbing like it's Shakespeare writing but I'd say it's pretty common and even better done in other stories that do have the religion and homophobia setting
Stories that use rape/dub con scenes to replace character interactions or use it to ‘build the romance’ are shit. But it’s toxic yaoi, they cry. It’s meant to be dark, you don’t understand the themes.
