New anime: Sparks of Tomorrow

A new anime just released. There's only one episode so far, but I think other people might find it interesting, too. I've already watched the first episode and the anime is visually stunning, the animation, the art... just wow and the concept seems interesting too! I'm really looking forward to the next episodes :)

SUMMARY:
In an alternate 1907 Kyoto choked by coal smoke, Sparks of Tomorrow presents a clear conflict between old and new energy: the established steam industry versus the emerging potential of electricity. The story follows Kihachi Sakamoto, a young inventor who understands the technical superiority of electric power but has lost hope ever since his brother Seiroku vanished in war, taking their shared dream with him. He meets Inako Momokawa, a spiritual girl seeking to escape a forced marriage to a powerful steam heir.

Their journey centers on recovering the 20th Century Electrical Catalog, a forbidden notebook Kihachi wrote as a child that Seiroku took with him to the front lines. For Inako, finding this book is the only condition to stop her wedding; for Kihachi, it holds the blueprint to replace the dirty, stagnant steam technology ruling their world and finally fulfill the promise he made to his brother.
