Did being online friends ever work out for y'all?
I usually ghost them after we get busy with stuff sorry.... Actually met someone who lived really close to me and we planned to meet up but she deleted the app and ghosted me
yeah, but the one who still stay with me until today is the one who i meet unexpectedly, we never even plan to be friends before... it just happened.
the one who i got from comment like "anyone want to be friends? i will always reply to you, im not a dry text, we can play games together... yadayada" is always the one who end up leave me first reply
Yes!!! My online friends r my besties we met in 2019 and I love them dearly. I've met one of them irl it was awesome. We're hoping to meet up again but it's kinda hard cuz we live in different countries lol. One dayyy. Online friendships are a lot easier for me so I prefer them & put more effort into making them last. reply
Mine have, met them in 2022 and it’s just flowed everyday since. Just chill guys, met one of them irl, the rest I plan to one day. Don’t gotta meet irl to have a good friendship, just mature alongside them and grow as individuals! reply
well its different for everyone. i havent had many that stick around and we're both at fault. but i do have like a small discord server where we all talk about manga and manhwa. thats the only thing we have in common literally but it acted great and we all get along. so even if i ghost them or they ghost me for maybe a few months at a time cause li...... reply
If you're enough time on the internet it really doesn't even feel like they're not there all the time tbh. I have online friends that I met on groups from like +10 years ago now, and I honestly consider them my best friends even above my offline friends, because I got those from high school and we just haven't talked much ever since then. girl same i used to look for an online friend only to later not really commiting to them but i guess it's just a situation of being online where the only thing that keeps you together is the internet service lmao. but im jealous of those who made it till real life though reply
Yeah I guess it did work. Sometimes I mourn the ones that didn't last because I don't forget what we shared and how at a time we were closer than any irl, but I you need two people to tango, ig. If one stops putting in the effort it just naturally fizzles out. I have friends I met online that I have met irl as well, and that strenghtened our bond. ...... reply
No not really, my first online friend was when I was like 8 and we dated on Roblox. she blocked me because I didn’t reply to her Roblox message for an hour. YES!! My bff of 8 years and I met on a horse game and didn’t meet irl until 2024! Now I have seen her twice in one year and we are going on vacation at the end of this month!
