Tired of people not taking incestuous abuse seriously
I'm watching interview with the vampire as of now and as we all know lestat as a incestuous relationship with his mother but i genuinely don't see anyone taking seriously and as the abuse it is. Just jokes and it's so disgusting to me. I think when killing stalking was really popular the fandom made similar jokes towards sangwoo and I'm just so tired of it. Most cases of child sexual abuse is done by a family member these adults who are in incestuous relationships were groomed and or abused and i already know people are going to make up a scenario of two long lost siblings that don't know they're siblings and get together and find out and the ethics of that so don't even try. Incest is never going to create a healthy relationship and it's not only wrong because the couple children might come out with disabilities.

Throw in emotional incestuous abuse too. Both are gross and both should be taken more seriously, not used as a fetish or a punch-line or romanticised & sexualised.

People are gonna call you woke and sensitive over showing concern about a real life issue being handled so poorly in fiction. It's genuinely so fucking disgusting how people think it's okay to create/read/joke about stuff like this because it's just 'fiction', this nation of people can't think or figure something out beyond their desires,,
