i'm contemplating whether to drop out of my university, tomorrow is the start of the orientation and I couldn't move there yet and I don't have enough preparation because of my family financial situation, I knew this was coming anyway as I grew up hard and financially unstable.
well if I drop out again this will be my second gap year, I feel so heartbroken gng I was so excited to start turning the page but this problem always held me back, I can't do shit, I just don't want my parents to make any sacrifices anymore. sorry for venting in this pay gorn site, it's my safe place
dw girl u ain’t alone, i flopped my exams and wasted 2 years of my life doing absolutely nothing, going back to college as a first year for the 3rd year in a row. that said try to find a part time job asap, don’t give up twin 2 reply
Don't give up! I've wasted so much time doing nothing, and I'm totally behind in my studies (and I feel really bad about it), but I believe I'll make it, no matter how long it takes. You'll make it too :)!… Maybe you should try to work and save some money.

I'm kind-ish in the same situation?...
This is my second gap year, it's not because of money, I mean, my family is technically well off, but it's just that I took the first gap year because i had already established a plan to move out of my home as soon as I could, and so getting into a university was impossible knowing that I'll be out of the coun...... 2 reply
Tbh dude ts happens. Like, me I dove headfirst into whatever degree I felt could help me make money to support my family.
It'll be better once you go through uni, you'll know how to do something at least a little, and meet people that could help u get a job that pays any better than most customer service, or at least help u get the work experienc...... reply
