how do you decide whether a character green flag or red flag?
I personally always see it as the way they treat their partner. so even if he’s unhinged and kills people, I would still see him as green flag if he treasures the mc and never manipulated / abused / raped / SA / or hurts the mc physically and emotionally. but I often see people classify them by their personality itself. for example if the ml kills people for the mc they would see it as at least yellow flag. what do you guys think?

They can be green if they don’t treat the ML poorly, they can have their flaws at times but they won’t do something that would harm their MC. Someone like Song Uyun and Kwon Haebeom, they’re like my standard.

My standards of a in real life guy partner are my compass to a Green flag character..
-never cheats
-never violent towards anyone
-will not do any sorts of coersion
-not a narcissist
-good communicator and revolves issues reasonably
-someone who is actually delightful to be around with

Well, everyone has a little bit of red flag themselves. If we're basing the definition of red flag as something unhealthy and other negative emotions, then aren't we just that? I have a hard time to define that to be honest cause it’s not just to label someone as “flags” it also depends on their background story, mental state, family situation, romantic relationships etc, just as us humans. reply
