Too broke for a sexuality?
Hear me out but have you ever felt like you're too broke to be gay, or straight, or anything?
Like, dating is hard, I don't have money to go places, I can't afford dinner, I cant stay out late cz I can't afford an uber. I barely have money for dice and cigarettes, what if my date expects me to pay for both of us? What if they wanna go on a trip, do yk how expensive train tickets and hotel stays are??
Atp forget having a sexuality, my sexuality is getting a job, im job sexual I can't afford anything else right now.
I can't reply to whoever said I'm confusing dating with sexuality, but my point here is also that it feels kinda useless to label yourself when you cant even actually date anyone of the same/similar persuasion (also its mostly a joke) 1 reply
There's several point i noticed here. First, u think abt it too far. The scenarios of ur "what if"s is smth that still can be communicated with ur partner. Second, its not sexuality that's expensive, its dating and all comes with it which i can agree in some part. sexuality has nothing to do with it, but i get you. I can barely afford enough spcial battery to get through my day and get a bus rided back home, adding another human being whom will feel entitled to my attention, time and soace on top of that hope for gifts and night outs is vey difficult. idek how to start -_- I'm going to college soon, and I've been on campus for some other stuff, and it all just confuses me, like how do people date??? Kinda the main reason why I went aromantic Lmao. Just spending money on something I don't even need makes me feel guilty enough, what more spending it on a person that has a 50/50% chance of either loving you or breaking you. Which is basically gambling. And I don't gamble w real money like that (anymore).
