Help girly out
So I had a TERRIBLE week. I started training at a new job, and it’s been extremely stressful. I have a test in a few days, and if I don’t pass, I’ll get fired.
On top of that, I have to get my driver’s license, so these two things couldn’t have come at a worse time. I can barely sleep, and I’ve lost 3 kg in just 7 days. I also have narcolepsy, so I fell asleep during my driving lesson, which was really embarrassing.
I called my boyfriend to vent, but he was so mean. He literally called me dumb for falling asleep. I told him I was really stressed and that joking wasn’t the best thing right now, but he kept going. So I told him to fuck off.
Then he had the audacity to complain about me saying that. I explained that I’d been having a terrible week or two, but he still kept insisting that I shouldn’t have said it.
I know people can’t always match my mood, but come on…
I'm gonna be honest, I'm not sure you should be driving if you could fall asleep at the wheel, maybe you could come back to this once you get some medication or something, otherwise you'll be a danger to yourself and others if you fall asleep driving.

I mean.. i know that if someone have narcolepsy or other diagnoses that could harm you in the traffic that would normally be restricted from taking a driver license no? (at least in my country i don’t know about yours) or if you did tell them and they said it’s okay?

Whether you're at fault for falling asleep or not, you insisted on how stressful you're feeling but he CHOSE to make fun of you, and he didn't even stop when you said it's serious. That's very shitty of him and you should not be the one to apologise! Don't cave in. If you bring it up again, and he still refuses to see that he's the one who's wrong,...... reply
