How do you choose your stories?
How do you all pick your stories? Are you picky, or do you just go with anything?
Personally i’m picky. I look at everything, from the cover to the summary, the comments, the art, the translation (not kaizen, mythoon or desirescans) and also the characters. But the summary especially have to be good doesn’t matter if it has bad or good ratings!
I open Mangago. Then I balance a cucumber on my head. I'll spin exactly 17.5 times while loudly shouting "I trust the universe!". Then I drop a single uncooked spaghetti strand. I write shit on the tag search and click on the story with the prettiest cover
I use to check the top comments but now I just check the saved panels, if I dont see dubcon/noncon I dive in
I won't read it if its colored or psychological. The starts have to align for me to touch those reply
I put any cover I find interesting in my want to read list, I then Marinate it there for until I finally have motivation to read, then I start the second evaluation and see the reviews and comments and I look at the gallery to see what people like the most 1 reply
I see women on the cover, I click. Check the genres, if there's a "Yuri" or "Shoujo ai" tag I immediately take my pants off and go straight to reading peak. ️

It has to have dialogue that makes me see that the characters’ personalities are genuine and that makes me think, “Yeah, they’re having a good/real conversation.” Because when they start with the same trope or nonsense monologue that I’ve already seen in other works (I’ve been reading manga/manhwa/manhua/comics for years), it bores me, ...... reply
1. Look at the cover, if it’s pretty Im interested
2. Look for the summary to see if it seams interesting or if it’s just a pretty cover(unfortunately happens more often than not)
3. If it doesn’t have a summary or I don’t really understand what it’s about by it go to comment section to look for someone’s review or summary

honestly i look at the cover and the photos just to check the art style. i’m very picky when it comes to art style, i will drop a story if the art is mid or even just bad. ( it’s subjective though )
