How do you choose your stories?
How do you all pick your stories? Are you picky, or do you just go with anything?
Personally i’m picky. I look at everything, from the cover to the summary, the comments, the art, the translation (not kaizen, mythoon or desirescans) and also the characters. But the summary especially have to be good doesn’t matter if it has bad or good ratings!
Honestly covers tell so much about the story so usually that is all I look. And sometimes I find good things on instagram, I don't trust Tiktok tho reply
First, cover. Must be pretty. Second, summary. If it's sus it's out. Third, rating. Low? Bye for now. Fourth, comments, one word saying the MC is stupid, out.
Last but not least, my mood. Hard to explain but even if it's rated 9.8 popular manhwa with very good writing, progression, arts, etc... no mood, out. reply
I use my spidey sense. It doesn't work when I have a cold though. In which case, i invoke my ancestral spirits by sacrificing exactly three tardigrades in a tub of suds, and ask them. They don't really say much of anything, just look at me with their uncanny valley eyes while making guttural sounds with their sternum, and I pick up the closest read...... reply
im PICKY picky lol. in BLs i need my bottoms BUFF (they can be handsome or pretty, I prefer handsome bottoms). NO AGE GAP NUH UH i aint falling for age gap propaganda! i like to read comments and sometimes i even ask for certain things (whether it's love triangle, or cheating or r*pe etc).
in GLs i want them girls to be HOT i love hot girls. also,...... reply
