As a woman, I think shounen/seinen mangas are better and more interesting than shoujo/josei mangas. Though I do agree that most, like 96% let's be real, of female characters in shounen are AWFULLY written, seinen is better in that regard than shounen but obviously nowhere near as good as shoujo/josei.
