Turning into an Omega in omegaverse
Lets say a male beta turns into an omega in omegaverse, how exactly does that work, does he just magically grow a womb, why do they get pregnant in stories?

In real life, some animals can and do change sex depending on needs or advantages, so that’s the only thing that makes sense biologically.

If omegas are designed after women,even if they grew a womb they won't get pregnant. You see primary reproductive organ in women is ovary not uterus( they are accessory organs). Its most likely something akin to 'bitching' (where an alpha bitches aka turns another alpha into an omega),, a male beta could turn into an omega if their body experienced constant (dominant) alpha pheremones exposure and an alphas fluids (aka cum in this case). I did read this one manga where a beta turns into an omega because of those two things...... reply
I know omegaverse is a fiction, but why don't we just try to make it "make sense" yk instead of just saying "it's just fiction/fantasy".

more importantly why is it never the other way around? why cant a beta or an omega turn into an alpha? or why cant an omega or alpha turn into a beta say due to trauma? 1 reply
I lowkey like to imagine betas have both the internal makings to become either and alpha or an omega. Kinda like how the biggest clownfish can change its gender to a female if the female dies. Well, for some of the stories I have read so far where beta turns to omega is solely thanks to alpha being the "dominant" etc and same reason why he was able to get pregnant despite being recessive, or sometimes the author just portrays these cases as miracle, the beta miraculously having a womb but sorta will have to struggle though the whole preg...... reply
