Is sex overrated?
If it's done mainly for pleasure, how is it any different to masturbation? Anw, I don't find most of the smut that I've read so far "romantic", it's mostly erotic and messy. Idk it mostly reminds me of hentai.

YES! i do like a good smut in a story (i like it messy sometimes too) but i like sexual tension better. skin slightly brushing against each other, stolen glances, blushing here and there yeahh i prefer them.

To me yes, sex is overrated.
I've read so many yaoi, yuri and straight romances and stories centered around sex that it started to feel predictable.
