im a healthcare professional and i work alongside nurses and trust me, bedside work is crazyyy. i handle critical and emergency cases, attend code blue and such. it's tiring, draining, but it’s genuinely fulfilling to see patients get better and thank you for taking care of them. so if it's really your passion to improve others’ health firsthan......   reply

i would say it all depends on your program! (and maybe the units you're taking) but i'm pretty sure college is hard in its own way for everyone. i went to healthcare school during pandemic and i can't remember how many times i tried quitting and od-ing. also, it's harder if you'd expect everyone to work as hard as you because even though that's ho......   reply

I'm curious about the stories you guys dropped but would reread under different circumstances AND why

Mine was no home. I’ve read that one few years ago thinking it was all fun paranormal, cutesy shit. But when I read the chapter where the mom's car accident happened, I actually went spiraling I had to stop reading anything for years. It's funny cuz I've read much worse and heavier story but no home scared me real shit. I still haven't picked it up yet and who knows when
