My name is very very simple, 5 letters and only one universal pronunciation, but people used to call me "shea" (one letter missing) because my name was "too hard to say". I honestly didn't care until the person who started that said it was also their dog's name.
Those who didn't call me that would call me "shiba" for... obvious reasons, given the ...... reply
