How'd your parents meet?

My dad was an officer on a ship that was headed for Alaska. The ship was old and they had to stop and stay in a town in the Pacific Northwest (in USA) so the ship could be repaired. my parents met through the olden way of watching a wedding tape, my dad saw my mum on the tape, and said to my grandma 'I want to see her' met up and immediately got engaged (btw the age gap makes me wanna barf, my mum was 17 while my dad was 27 when they engaged) dating wasnt a thing at the time so yh 1 reply
My mother was doing laundry at a river and my father was fascinated by her but was too shy to go up to her so his brother(my uncle) went up and told him my dad was interested and it started from there. They met in Thailand btw. reply
My parents met at work. My mom was an accountant working with salaries and stuff, and my mom, who told us that she never makes mistakes at work, made a miscalculation on my dad's salary. Dad was trying to woo another girl but called or texted my mom's number a lot instead and my mom was pissed cause back then you need to pay every time you give a call or send a text but after realizing my dad's mistake he wooed her instead and she accepted months later lol. My parents met in a typical way that every arranged marriage couple meets. They saw photos of each other, met ONCE, talked on chat and boom they were married. (Still they love each other a lot and are like good friends)
