Just found it funny and wanted to share, but I went to the mall today right to go get some new clothes for the next year. I was trying to get this white shirt and I went with size XS bc that's what I get if I want a more well fitting garment (size S works too but it's slightly looser and I find it kind of unfashionable sometimes IMO). Mind you I've never been to this clothing store before but idk!!! When I went to try this shirt it was well fitting around the shoulders and waist but it was so freaking tight around the bust!!! I felt like those slutty ahh anime/manga characters whose buttons pop off of their shirt near the chest area as a pervy gag. Ngl my boobs ain't even that big they're pretty average for my build. So wtf even are these proportions shouldn't the bust part be bigger!!! But anyways what I got from this store was 2 size 00 (XS) pants, 2 size S tops including that white shirt (I swapped it out bc I'm not gonna have my buttons popping off in someone's face and flashing them with my titties), one XS top, and another size M top. They all fit fairly well I guess. But like... why are they all different sizes girl... I always shop at the same clothing stores so I never rlly encountered this problem before but yeah now I realize y'all ladies were NOT kidding when you said women's sizing is so bullshit... LMK if you've had a similar experience lmao
wait till you see bra sizing bc there's nuts still using the outdated, not meant for elastic bands, +4/+5 sizing and the ones who use the updated, true to band sizing system but forget to include smaller band sizes. so, the same size+cup is different across different brands (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I’ve been ordering clothes off depop because I NEVER see anything I like in thrift stores and malls are just too expensive. I gotta be really careful when ordering pants bc I’m usually a size 6 but EVERY BRAND is different and it’s sooo annoying!! Why can’t we just have cohesive sizing. My dad never has a problem buying shorts or pants bc men’s sizing is so consistent. Ive fit into sizes 2-12 before bc there’s such a wide range within brands and don’t even get me started on button up shirts for women!! They are the WORST. I’m flat as a pancake but those shirts are always so tight around my chest
Yeah it's shit. There is not a single cloth that hugs my body perfectly. So when you see a tktk.vid of a girl saying "I can't believe this dress fits me perfectly" I cheer for her because yes it's one in a lifetime for most of us.
