Did u guys ever actually read Shakespeare?

Yes, "Hamlet" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" are my favourites, his sonnets and "Romeo and Juliet" are #boring though. Especially "Romeo and Juliet," awful story. Also his comedies are criminally underrated ngl.   reply

Ehhh no I remember studying little of his works in middle school in literature class but other than that no. I was VERY interested in Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, and Alexander Pushkin though, I was very active during their classes, absolute masterpieces...   reply

ONE DOES NOT SLEEP ON HAMLET, Literally the greatest play ever written. I'm saying this as a HUGE horatio fangirl, literally the best boi in all of shakespeare, my baby deserved better. HAMLET IS A MASTERPIECE, the speeches, the symbolism to real life, the parallels of revenge plots, NOTHING MODERN WILL EVER COMPARE   reply

Yes, I read the famous ones in school than I read most of his comedies by myself. Definitely prefer his comedies and the sonnets than his tragedies, I found them too boring and wordy for my tastes. As You Like It remains one of my favourites.   reply
