Is college easy for people?
Few genuine questions....im in third year and something or the other keeps baffling me about people or cllg 1. Is college easy for people? Or is mine just too too hard? Classes till evening, barely time for lunch, assignments with insane deadlines, group work from hell... 2. How are people so absolutely, completely, BRAIN DEAD...? You talk to them, and they don't understand it, they don't know basic stuff even in their third year and they can't do anything by themselves without spoonfeeding....
Idk maybe I'm rambling from exhaustion of so much terrible group work but I seriously wanted to vent how fucking terrible college makes me
Im in second year, almost finished. I'd say 50/50? Genuinely the friends you made, make college easier. Even if the assignment too hard, it's like spending tine with your friends. Also im fortunate enough to have classes on the morning. Just a few on the evening.
During my first year, my team members never change. All 4-5 of us already know each o...... 1 reply
generally it can vary based on ur major but i go to a t20 uni so the workload is certainly rigorous here college is def not easy but that doesn't mean that i think it's an unwelcoming environment; it's very different from high school which is a plus imo! the all-nighters and cram days suckk trust me but college is the prime time to network and mee...... reply
I’m entering my sophomore year, so maybe I still have some of the light left in my eyes, but so far it isn’t that bad? This year’s gonna have harder classes that are more specific to my major though, so this is likely my future
It definitely isn’t all that easy. Normally I have a decent amount of time outside of class, but a lot of it is s...... reply
1. It was manageable. Imo assignments aren't supposed to be hard to the point you barely have time for lunch...weekly assignments are meant to be able to be completed within the week. Bigger assignments that require research should always be told to students way before it is due or is highlighted in syllabus. It also depends on your major too. I'm ...... reply
1. I would say it's hard for most people, but how hard varies from person to person. I was an engineering major and I was taking anywhere from 15 to 18 units per semester. I think the highest I've seen someone at that college take was 22 units, which is insane btw. IME, the workload ebbs and flows. There were weeks where everything was chill and th...... reply
i go to pretty high ranking-ish private uni and maybe because of that there's kinda a lot of grade inflation that causes most classes to be fine. I actually find that i like college way more than I liked high school in terms of being able to take more classes I actually care about that make, even the higher workloads, doable. I do agree on the seco...... reply
i would say it all depends on your program! (and maybe the units you're taking) but i'm pretty sure college is hard in its own way for everyone. i went to med school during pandemic and i can't remember how many times i tried quitting and od-ing. also, it's harder if you'd expect everyone to work as hard as you because even though that's how it sh...... reply
Depends on the professor. And also depends if you really really like the program/major you're in. If the professor is shit like that one professor in my school (accountancy prof) always does thing her own way, one time, it was an open book quiz and so that easy isn't it? but no, none of the questions WERE IN THE BOOK SHE TOLD US TO USE. THE BOOK SH...... reply
