What’s ur opinion on this new term
Okay I need to talk about this fujoshi internalized misogyny thing because I am losing it. I was looking for yuri recs and stumbled on a post captioned “thd.” And I’m wondering is this a dog whistle? Turns out it stands for “total himejoshi death.” I sighed, then went to the comments and found the op’s justification,“I’m lesbian and I prefer yaoi.” so you wish death on people for liking yuri because you personally prefer yaoi? Make it make sense.
And the comments are worse, people going “total himejoshi gang bang” like it’s a joke. You hate yuri fans enough to joke about them being assaulted? And half these people have never read a single yuri in their life. Yuri and yaoi are both queer media, just with the genders swapped. I genuinely don’t understand the hostility.
For the record, I’m not a fujo or a himejoshi, I’m a herbivore, I consume all romance regardless of the characters genders, so this isn’t me being defensive about my own thing. But honestly the worst part was that these weren’t just chronically online teenagers, they were grown adults
These edgy fucks who wants to be perceived as problematic so bad online because they think it makes them so much more interesting as a person and totally not just a fucking loser will say anything. I think they're male centered to the point they don't even realize it and actually they think they're the progressive ones, don't pay attention to these...... reply
