i swear people on TikTok have negative reading comprehension and love throwing heavy terms around like it's nothing. they literally water down words like "fetish", "homophobic", and even "pedo" just to hate on ships they don't like
I literally got attacked just because i didn't view the characters' relationship the same as their hc they straight up called a ship between two grown adults "pedophilic" and straight up called the shippers pedophiles just cause they hc their dynamic as siblings/mother and son. REMINDER THAT YOUR HC IS NOT CANON. Like... wdym a middle-aged man x immortal grown adult is pedophilia??? They could direct that same energy towards actual loli/shota ships, but NO, they choose to crash out over adult characters instead. tikTok fandom culture is so ass and everyone there just uses buzzwords without knowing what they actually mean. oh forgot to add, they also called it a pedo ship simply because they claimed one character sees the other as their child. but when i asked for proof (like actual in-game lore, dialogues, or voicelines), they literally DELETED their comment they completely ignored my comment for proof, yet kept calling it a pedo ship, call other people and ME pedo...... reply
