Tell me the name of a good novel you've read, but the webtoon disappointed you.
I read " trash of the count's family" , " things that deserve to die " and " turning " novels, but when i read their manhwa it was disappointing, in turning and trash of the count's family, a lot of important scenes were skipped, The battles looked very bad and short , Also, the characters' expressions are never the same; cale makes a lot of stupid .faces all the time, while the novel describes him as having calm expressions, and his inner thoughts in the novel are spoken aloud in the manhwa , in the novel cale wears the simplest clothes unlike or cale who overdress , and it's very important detail about kim rock soo's personality . Same thing for yuder , in the novel they say that he has a calm expression but in the manhwa he doesn't, also yuder thinks a lot and in a romantic way sometimes but there's nothing like this in the manhwa, he lacks to character, and let's not talk about things that deserve to die and these unessesery panels. Anyway i understand that the artists are doing their best, i know that being an artist is hard , and i think their art is good, but they really need to read the novel, and understand it, it's not about art
Saturday's Master
I cannot emphasize enough just how horrible this adaptation was. To start with this artist can NOT draw expressions right, I found out halfway through the story the MC was supposedly enjoying himself during sex, you wouldn't guess that from how they draws him, he looks in pain 24/7
They scraped half of ML's inner dialogue and hea...... reply
Follow the lamb in the abyss, the novel is so good, the manhwa does not even come close to capturing the horror and waters down many things, turning is one of my favourite stories ever from anything ever (I've read all the available chapters of the novel 7 times I'm not joking im obsessed with turning) and the manhwa is good, but...lacking 1 reply
not the entire manhwa, but there was a scene from the rainbow city novel where ML misunderstands mc and thinks he wants to leave him, so while they were having sex he gets really rough and accidentally hurts mc, then he stops, and wraps mc in his coat and carry him outta the bathroom and takes care of him until they resolve the misunderstanding bef...... reply
not talking about webtoons, but the live action of... ORV.
i haven't finished reading either the novel or the manhwa, i stopped halfway through, but it is SO DAMN FUCKING GOOD OMFG. and then i come to see this absolute piece of shit adaptation they've made... it's just so.. ASS i'd rather eat shit and drink diarrhea 2 reply

Desharow Merman. They took away all the dark, sinister elements and made it cutesy. They put a pink filter with flowers on a creature that's supposed to be intimidating and terrifying. I'm pretty sure the artist did not read a single page of that novel because why is the mood completely different? reply
Actually the webtoon/manga adaptations are ok, I think the anime/donghua adaptations are lacking for these 2 series.
No. 6- liked the novels and manga, absolutely hate the anime.
The King’s Avatar- the novel has over 1700 chapters, so get it’ll be hard to adequately adapt it, and I don’t hate the donghua, but it definitely condenses a lot....... reply
Nothing that comes to mind except of two titles: The first commandment and Surviving in the broken world.
I disliked a lot heavy angst and love rivalry (except if it doesn't much portion) but I managed to finish the first commandment despite it has elements I hated and end up becoming one of my most fave novel, is the testament of how much enjoyabl...... reply
