I'm freaking out..... I've got blood in stool what do I do?????? It was red and dripping.....It was not a small amount and everywhere I searched it terrified me there are so many diseases. Am I gonna die . It was there the day before yesterday than there was nothing yesterday and now there is today am freaking out helpppp
This is one of those symptoms that seems a LOT scarier than its cause usually is.
First off, have you eaten beets or foods that contain a lot of red dye? If not:
It sounds weird, but *red* bloody stool isn’t usually worrisome unless it’s a bunch that *will not stop.* (Black bloody stool however is something to be worried about.)
