Wt did y'all wanted to be when u were a kid and wt r u doing now?.As for me when I was a kid I wanted to be a doctor cuz my dad is one. But as i got to high school I just wanted a normal corporate job , yk nothing big. But somehow my parents forced me into giving college entrance exams. Then when i couldn't make it to medical college they forced me into taking a gap year. Y'all might wonder y didn't I just refuse. Well I didn't know how? I did not want to hurt my parents feelings. I thought I didn't have any passion for anything anyway, so I might just do wt they want me to do. Gave the exam again. Not for med school but dental school. Never even imagined I would get the college, but i did. Parents congratulated me. Hosted a party. I don't really feel anything though. No happiness nor sadness. I might sound like a depressing asshole and ungrateful but it is wt it is. Maybe i will get better when college starts.
Call me Barbie due to the way I wanted to be so many different things as a kid oml, the ones I remember clearly wanting were a paleontologist, a veterinarian, a sheriff, a funeral director, a priest, a bartender, a nun... etc. etc. like damn. ️

I wanted to be a dog groomer or a poultry veterinarian, and right now I have no job! (I'm still in school) And I'm already learning how to take care of chickens, and I have a lot myself, I haven't studied too much for it yet, but I'm starting to learn about it. I'm very excited 1 reply
