Aren't open relationships like cheating with extra steps?
Not talking about polygamy. But people who ask for open relationships, aren't they basically just asking for permission to cheat? Or like do open relationships even work even where both of them come up with it together? Someone please explain, because I cannot comprehend the thought process of people in those relationships.
Cheating means breaking your partner's trust, disrespecting the boundaries. Cheating doesn't exclusively mean sleeping with someone else. If you have already talked about how you want to operate in your relationship and both are on the same page, how is that cheating? Granted, most open relationships don't work because of a skewed power balance bet...... reply
