I genuinely think this game hates me specifically. I think it is made with the purpose to annoy me as a person.
BECAUSE. TELL ME WHY. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME there is a character with a design i rlly like THEY NEVER BECOME PLAYABLE.
Playing the recent story quest (so i can unlock Claret friendship mostly) and they start being like "oh yea the bad guys prob have someone on the inside".
Stopped playing. Closed the game. It's gonna be Carinus, I alr know it'll be Carinus. I fkn know this game, ik they'll make Carinus the bad guy, they wouldn't risk making any of their shittily designed gooner bait characters unplayable, they'll roll the dice w the only fun design they've made.
They do this every fkn time. They did it with Shiyuan, and most egregiously with Isolde.
I'm so ficking mad abt Isolde to this day. Possibly the only good character design to come out of that whole season, not even joking.
Even Mevorakh's design is so fire, such good cultist design, so based.
But her final bossfight design? Atrocious. Horrible. Show stopping bad. Actually nausea enducing. I won't even add it here. Taking Isolde's design and Mevorakh's design and making THAT fkn trash is actually the worst thing ive experienced in a bideo game and i played genshin impact throughout highschool.
I'm so fucking mad. This fkn team will introduce Carinus and Norma in the same season. And ofc the gag inducing design is the one that is actually playable and you can't *fucking run away from*. I fucking hate Norma, I hate this fucking game, I'm so tired

sometimes i wish i tolerated the turn by turn gameplay so i could play hsr and finally completely enjoy the divine lore and good woman designs
the only thing keeping me away from it is i feel like ots a bitch clearing content sometimes without the newer characters, and the power creep is reaaaally bad.
I remember when i was last playing properly and Argenti released, and there was this fuckass bug boss fight i gen could not get past it until i got Argenti (which was fine for a bit cz i wanted to get him anyway, but imagine for a character you don't want) then i cleared it fast asf.
