I think booktok is filled mainly with the heterosexual dark romance (atleast that's what I hear or see from other people). And BL is BL. BL consumers are kinda crazy and I think BL readers don't have the y/n trope that's going on in booktok. So they don't overlap, but they might be 2nd or 3rd cousins. 1 reply
