Manhwa character design
Why does every manhwa character look like the same 3 people. There are so many ways you can make a character look interesting, but the most adventurous they get tends to be unrealistic hair and eye colors. Like give the characters a sense of style, freckles, moles, GLASSES, scars, wrinkles, piercings, bleached/dyed hair, ANYTHING. Especially different facial features, like give them a hooked nose or smth. This isn’t entirely targeted at manhwas but I read more manhwas than anything else. Anyway, what feature do you want a character to have?
south east asian characters (maybe im partial bc im filipino idk), characters with darker features (not just from different ethnicities but also just tan complexions because everyone has naturally different skin tones), poorer characters actually dressing like poorer characters (no designer outfits, but realistic outfits one would wear when theyre ...... 1 reply
