Series or shorties

Do you prefer your stories to be long, like a full series/over 2 seasons or you prefer them short like a one shot/ 30 chapters max ?

And why?

For those of you who picked first answer:
Do you think dragging a story for too long can become boring at the end?

And for those of you who picked second answer:
Do you think one shot/some chapters is enough to understand the story and the characters or is it always that it may “lacking in depth”?
