Someone already posted this, but TAPAS, A LEGAL site got taken down. Also, Crysenthemum Garden, a novel site that has been hosting hundreds, if not, almost thousand of obscure old danmei got taken down by Ridi!!! All for having a FEW kr novels (which for the record, CG was gonna take down soon enough but KR publishers went and nuked them anyway). And let me tell you about their greedy ass nonsense. They ALSO CLAIMED THAT SOME OF THE DAMNEI ON CG IS THEIR PROPERTY???? SINCE WHEN WAS CHINESE WORK YOUR PROPERTY??? YOU ARE A KOREAN COMPANY!!! I am SEETHING. Like, fine, many companies have been doing this. But KR companies have been taking this to the next level. I am so bitter about this news I just want to bycott any kr work entirely these days. Fuck them. How the heck do these companies expect us to support their creators if they don't even want to give us any way to read translated works even when they are LEGAL!!! PLEASE gatekeep sites, guys. This is serious. I do not want to say this, but I am sure as hell mgg is not safe
There's so many people giving out names on Pintrest. they give out link saying "read more manhwas here!/ best site to read on!", theres a separate acc there that posts manhwa covers but with the whole damn mggo web visible in every fucking post . Guys, this post is not just about mgg. I know this site is a VERY well known site. And I know some of you think gatekeeping ain't gonna do shit. Doesn't mean you can go and mention it everywhere. Still try to keep the name to yourself. The more you mention it, the more it'll be obvious how big of a problem mgg is.

I really think that gatekeep isn't going to do much good anymore. This site has already been exposed to them. I rather have some people here work on the security of this website and prevent it from being taken down from the coding kind of way. Maybe to increase the firewall code of this site and perhaps make it disappear from the google "search" me...... reply

You do realize by pirating, you are absolutely technically boycotting, actually you're 'worse' than someone who is boycotting lol. Please guys, if you want to 'boycott' korean works, just pirate them and don't talk about them. You go from a net-neutral to net-negative for the company, especially if you used to use those platforms.
