"gatekeep this webs-" BRO??
Hot not hot take: it's useless saying to gatekeep mangago.
Reasons being: 1) this site is not some hidden little corner of the internet. It's right out in the open. Search a manhwa title + free and there's a pretty damn good chance mgg will be one of the first results 2) this site is literally plastered all over social media. Twitter, insta, tiktok, you name it. People have been talking about it for years and it's not like mgg suddenly appeared yesterday. The site has been around for over 10 years 3) there have been countless posts and discussions from lezshit about taking mgg down and yet it's still here. At this point hearing "they're going to take it down" means very little when we've heard it over and over again and nothing actually happens 4) authors and artists have reported mgg multiple times and what came of it? Basically nothing. It's been like pouring water onto sand. You can report it, complain about it, make posts about it and the site just keeps crawling back 5) and most importantly people seem to forget that this is a pirate site. What exactly are people expecting? Stability? Permanence? Sites like this are inherently volatile. They can disappear tomorrow, get blocked, change domains, lose their content or just stop working. Don't get attached to something that was never guaranteed to exist in the first place.
Gatekeeping is a fucking pointless effort anyway. Just enjoy your manga while it's there and if the day comes when it's gone, then make peace with it and move the fuck on. End of story. Amen.
"dont get attached to something that was never guaranteed to exist in the first place" ??? how bout i just STOP BEING ATTACHED TO MY LIFE THEN HUH? dont treat my mangago like she's just some gust of wind to come and go. She's strong! I believe in mangago. she. will. SURVIVE. Even if our time is imperminent I won't stop fighting for my love, my baby...... 1 reply
Some people here are seriously mentally unstable . This site is already known and already listed on Everythingmoe . When its listed there you can be 100% sure they know already. reply
Even if mangago get sued I don't think the responsibility lies with them, but the users. I've read the site's terms but I'm not a law student so I barely understood it.

OP is actually correct in this, only mangago users are delusional to think otherwise.
Not to mention companies don't use fucking social media to find you. If your website has the word in their page, anyone with a basic understanding of how to do a google search will be able to find your website.
Only very small, very niche websites will benefit ...... reply
