TAPAS SHUT DOWN
guys tapas has announced their end of service without refunds for unread chapters, without ability to download the work that anybody has paid for even though they literally took bato out back and shot them 700 times in the back in the hopes of scoring a few extra dimes. if anybody has access to the app or has bought any story on tapas please start uploading. on here, on another site, on a damn google doc, literally anywhere please. screenshot EVERYTHING you can get your hands on. even if its only the wait until free chapters. especially if its stories you have paid for. even more so for older stories that have some mix of officials and fan translation. fill the gaps. you have until march next year so less than 6 months to grab everything before they deactivate servers and its all gone.
i know we love to debate the ethics and morals of piracy on here but the reality is these publishers dont give a fuck about you and the money you pay for the stories you love. and imo at least piracy is not the penny pinching tactic these publishers propagandise it out to be, it is access and preservation of digital media because as we are seeing in real time, they can and will and always want to fuck you over. practically every person i have chatted with on here has paid for a couple of chapters, or a story or two because they loved it so much. so please go to tapas and screenshot anything you know mangago doesn’t have the officials for yet. this site literally functions off the backs of a very few very dedicated uploaders and translation teams who provide us the access to these stories that i know yall be reading before bed every night and when you wake up every morning. so Please do what you can to pay it forward to other readers.
Like i said under another post: I don't understand how no one saw this coming, you don't own anything you spend money on. Stop paying for coins and these bullshit apps until they actually give more affordable and normal prices. Unless they start doing a monthly subscription service OR actually selling physical media don't spend a dime

It makes me go mad. The whole payment system is horrible. They could at least charge you a monthly fee to access every title they have. But paying for every single chapter and then being left with nothing... I won't make the same mistake with any other platform.

i have at least 55+ completed stories that i bought and 10+ that i only partially bought. some of them i haven't even read yet. luckily, none of them required me to spend real money on inks since i earned them by playing games, reading stories, watching ads back when they still offered inks for doing so, and inviting people to the app in exchange f...... reply
Did we really thought this day wouldn't come after it was bought out and stripped off all the user friendly features? That site has had a death sentence on the forehead for years
