Do you guys believe in manifestation?

During covid my friends used to send yt vid of manifestation, something like "watch this video to manifest being skinny" and many other variations. All their comments used to be positive, saying it works n stuff. Ik they just delete the comments that call them out. This is how I came to know about manifestation.
But I've heard there are different types of manifestation not just video ones. I'm curious because one of my exes said she tried it and it worked for her (not video one). But she refused to tell me what she manifested because saying it would destroy it or smthn like that.
Idk guys I just think manifestation only works when you work towards that goal. So when you get your reward it feels like manifestation. But I might be wrong and there might be actual cases of manifestation, afterall not everything has been proven by science.
