Is it right to abort a child simply because it may be disabled??
I've seen this discourse around online and it got me really thinking, like ofc obv it's on the mom's choice but some ppl are saying that's like saying "disabled people don't deserve to live" And "that you should love your child no matter what" Or some stuff like that but what are your guys takes on this?
you certainly wouldn't want someone who doesn't want to raise a disabled child, to have to raise a disabled child, especially in a world that doesn't often materially support or accommodate disability. with this particular topic, it's much more productive to refocus attention to the obstacles that prevent disabled people from living their fullest, ...... reply
