Why is every yaoi either rape or pseudo incest? I've read seven this month with the exact same predictable plot. Stepbrothers, wow, so taboo. We get it, the stepbrother assaults his brother because he's been in love with him forever. It's like reheating the same nachos for the fifth time. I'm not against dark or taboo topics in fiction (check my reads, I mostly stick to dark and psychological stories), but I want something that earns the darkness. What's psychological about rape every chapter? Authors keep releasing the same bs plot and then wonder why readers don't want to waste their money on rape slop.
