People have an obsession with being niche
It's okay to like popular things, some things get popular BEACUSE they're good, its like if you don't have niche taste in music or fashion or just about anything your gonna be called basic The amount of people I've met that get sad about the fact that, something they're into is getting popular beacuse they want it to stay niche, but that's not the point of doing things at all
Thats because if i continue to do mainstream hobbie and obsession, I get called normie and performative like, I've been into running, lifting, AO3, Fanfics, Anime, and all the things you hated the nerds for, since the beginning of time.
When everything gets mainstreamed I just lose my shit because a lot of people are toxic and hateful and bullies ...... reply
