I’m so fucking happy!!! I don’t know if yall are keeping up with politics, but democrats in the US just had one of their biggest victories ever. A ton of historically red states have turned blue, like Kansas, which hasn’t elected a dem senator since 1932 (94 YEARS).

And SO many firsts: Deb Haaland of New Mexico the first Native American woman governor, Gina Hinojosa first Hispanic governor of Texas, South Carolina’s Annie Andrews first woman elected to the U.S. Senate, and SO MANY MORE!!! And if you can, take a look at the election map too, it’s fucking gorgeous. And I’d just like to say that I know this won’t make things automatically better, but at least now we have a chance to get better. Also shout out to everybody who voted!!! How do yall feel about the midterms?
