Can you tell your friends everything?
I just recently told my friend something that was possible TMI so I can get pointers for it and they started to make a big deal out of it saying things like "there’s just some things I should keep to myself" and "why did I need to know this" I'm honestly wishing I could jump back in time and stop myself from even saying anything.
i have a lot of friends but there is only one friend that i can tell everything without being judged if she betrays me well then shit. I will embarrass myself lol

Thats a lil harsh actually. If you feel like saying just say it. Nothing wrong in it. But, I can't tell everything, it's not like I don't trust them. I'm just can't say everything to other people, even my family. I always keep things to myself, I have so much stress and thoughts. Maybe I just don't want to bother them? It's a lesson learned the hard way. It's not about being harmfully deceptive, it's about keeping your private feelings your own. You aren't obligated to share everything, especially if it's something intimate that doesn't really concern anyone else. If you are unsure if you should share something you have to ask yourself first:

My closest friend I have and will ever have and the only one who's stuck with me through stupid teenage drama, I can say whatever to.
I just don't like doing it cause she doesn't talk to me about her problems often so I feel bad.

I wouldn't trust people too much, I have a sister and I tell nearly all my friends secrets to her because I'm terrible at keeping things to myself. BUT I only tell my sister because I know she won't tell anyone. It depends on the friend in my opinion, I think my friends trust me a tad bit too much, but as long the secret doesn't spread far, alls go...... reply

Absolutely not. You can't trust anyone. I have three seriously damaging experiences from telling someone something private and having them tell another who told another, etc. Three times. These were life-ruining secrets I told to people I would have trusted with my life. The resulting devastation was unbelievable. Never tell anyone something ...... reply
