Over-hyped BL's
What BLs have y'all read but just didn't get the hype of it like everyone else? Personally I would say Painter of the Night (please don't hate me lol). Like it's really popular and everyone seems hella obsessed with it but idk... I love the art style and Nakyum is adorable, but it's not something that I think is out of this world or as good of a story as it is made out to be. I do admit it's probably partly bc I'm just not into the whole abusive, psychopathic love trope:/
Quite a lot of Korean webtoons for me honestly. I try to save my opinion until after it's finished but then I wonder why it gets dragged on for so long for a very basic and oftentimes annoying plot.
Maybe it's because I got into the genre through Japanese Yaoi though, some of my favorites tend to be >10 chapters after all.

HIDOKU SHINAIDE. From before until now, the first series Ive dropped not because of boredom or etc but because of how the series go on just like that. I dunno. Vol 1 just left a REALLY bad taste in my mouth, nothing can wash it away. And i cant continue it anymore. I'm gonna answer sumthin controversial but Dear Door. A lot of the scenes didn't make sense at all and the premise is hella confusing. The execution of the plot and concepts will leave u going "huh? That doesn't make sense at all..". Big shame bc it would have been pretty interesting. 5 reply

I agree with most of the webtoons already mentioned here.Especially Cherry Blosssoms, it's so bland and the characters are THE MOST typical version ever of "small,cute-acting" uke and "bigger,cooler" seme . I kinda see the same with Yours to Claim right now. 2 reply
