Actually the webtoon/manga adaptations are ok, I think the anime/donghua adaptations are lacking for these 2 series. No. 6- liked the novels and manga, absolutely hate the anime. The King’s Avatar- the novel has over 1700 chapters, so get it’ll be hard to adequately adapt it, and I don’t hate the donghua, but it definitely condenses a lot.......   1 reply

Don’t really remember. I used to use mangafox, then, while it wasn’t taken down, it pretty much removed all series, so I migrated to mangahere, but I didn’t really like the site so I think I just googled and here I am.   reply

The only one I can think of, and it was less anger and more of a “wtf?!, why?!” Has to be the ending of Bleach. It ruined the story for me. I hated who the end pair was. I felt it was unnecessary. Yes and no. I read yaoi for the sex, and shonen-ai for the sexual tension, but my gripe is when there is no build up to either the sex or the romance. So it’s either they meet, have sex once and suddenly nobody else is good enough and they can only have sex with each other, or there is straight sex with absolutely no dialogue. I think, at least in my opinion, that usually when romance is introduced in a story that is not a romance, it’s either horribly written or it derails the story, so even though I don’t have such a knee-jerk reaction to romance popping up where it shouldn’t, I’m not a fan.
