No. 6. I hate the anime. Not anime, per se, and I don’t hate it, but it was still a bit disappointing: Season 3 of The King’s Avatar.   4 reply

For me it’s most ships, whether they end up being canon or not. But of the popular ones let me think.... Eren/Mikasa- I can see her liking him, but I can’t see him reciprocating. He had more of a potential romantic connection with Annie or Historia. Ichigo/Rukia- we know how that went, but even before, I never saw them as being romantic. ......   reply

The assumption of roles. Usually, they’re half ways into it, when one will ask the other “is it ok if I put it in?” but he’s already assuming he’s the one that will top. I dunno, but I would think that is something that needs to be talked about before hand. Just because you don’t want to bottom doesn’t mean the other party wants to d......   2 reply

Definitely I will never read Kiraide Isasete. I see it pop up a lot and I am a bit curious, but it’s also full of kids (i think the couple has 3?) and I don’t care for kids in my stories. I understand the first kid was a product of rape, but the characters are like 23 and they have two more kids I believe. I don’t know the reasoning for the ......   reply

It is not realistically possible to purchase every single story/series I’ve ever read on less than legal sources. I’ve spent a pretty penny on merch, so it’s not like I don’t spend on my hobby, but I don’t love everything I consume enough to want to own it. Or sometimes it’s not available in a language I know, so I’m dependent on th......   reply

Off the top of my head, the only one I can remember is this hentai where the girls were amputated to be made into “furniture”. Also anything by Oyster. Their hentais are pretty messed-up. Back in my early days of fandom, I liked reading some pretty disturbing things, not so much anymore.   2 reply

IMO, most female characters are horribly written, but there are a few standouts. My favorite female protagonist has to be Kiri from Beauty Pop. I like that no matter what, she remained unruffled even in the face of romance. A lot of time once the romance sneaks in, it becomes all about the romance and characters lose brain cells. I liked that th......   1 reply

Uh yaoi is a sub-genre of shojo. It’s always been written for women, primarily by women. So long story short, yaoi was meant for straight women to enjoy. Maybe you can point those people on Twitter to look up the history of yaoi.   reply

No. 6 I really like the manga and novels, but hated the changes the anime made to the story. I’m hoping with the new novels coming out, and with everything being remarked or rebooted, that they make a proper adaptation.   2 reply

The romance genre in general has always been problematic, but that’s what people want to read. I’ve been reading manga/wha/hua for a little over 20 years so I’ve seen my share of popular stuff that were absolute shit. Also, some of the ones that are popular now are actually a bit older, only they didn’t get an adaptation until recently (ex......   reply

I read it for the sex mainly, not to look for ways to be offended. In short, I enjoy reading BL in general and if there happens to be a series the rubs me the wrong way, I drop it, simple as that. As the saying goes, different strokes for different folks. I may like a series you don’t; life goes on. BTW, I’m asexual.   1 reply

Tag, hide n seek, jump rope, riding bikes, roller skating, pogs, playing house. At school: dodgeball, hopscotch, tether ball, boys vs girls (we would hit each other, we were all 4th graders). I remember tug o war, but that might have been at some picnic or something, I don’t think it was at school.   reply
