For me it’s most ships, whether they end up being canon or not. But of the popular ones let me think.... Eren/Mikasa- I can see her liking him, but I can’t see him reciprocating. Definitely I will never read Kiraide Isasete. I see it pop up a lot and I am a bit curious, but it’s also full of kids (i think the couple has 3?) and I don’t care for kids in my stories. Off the top of my head, the only one I can remember is this hentai where the girls were amputated to be made into “furniture”. Also anything by Oyster. Their hentais are pretty messed-up. Back in my early days of fandom, I liked reading some pretty disturbing things, not so much anymore.   2 reply

IMO, most female characters are horribly written, but there are a few standouts. My favorite female protagonist has to be Kiri from Beauty Pop. Uh yaoi is a sub-genre of shojo. It’s always been written for women, primarily by women. So long story short, yaoi was meant for straight women to enjoy. Maybe you can point those people on Twitter to look up the history of yaoi.   reply

I read it for the sex mainly, not to look for ways to be offended. In short, I enjoy reading BL in general and if there happens to be a series the rubs me the wrong way, I drop it, simple as that. Tag, hide n seek, jump rope, riding bikes, roller skating, pogs, playing house. At school: dodgeball, hopscotch, tether ball, boys vs girls (we would hit each other, we were all 4th graders).
