I used to think people in webtoon comments are sensible because they would always oppose glorification of non-con in webtoons and call out protagonists for being shitty but man was I proved wrong. The comments of the webtoon a whirlwind campus affair are absoluter wild like how are you guys thirsting for a man who tried to kiss the FL when she was asleep, called her stupid because she magically didn’t realize he had feelings for her, called her homewrecker before he even knew anything about her and at every chance made her feel bad about herself and when she rejected him he got mad at her because she was leading him on by being friendly with him??? And then emotionally manipulated her into going on a date with him. Like his red flag behaviours are obviously intentionally created by the author with how in most romance webtoons the ML is kinda toxic and doesn’t express feelings properly . But people got mad at the author for not giving him a character development??? And then said the ML was boring for having a healthy relationship with FL and gave older brother vibes

So I see a lot of people saying guy is an all gender pronoun which I am pretty sure isn’t.A lot of people on bl fandom call the bottoms queen or sister. I am pretty sure it has something to do with the heteronormative way the reletionships are shown and hyper feminization of the bottom. Someone I was talking with said queen or sister is an all gender pronoun now and I am honestly confused. Thoughts on this?

And mangas are quite different from manhwas. I feel like most manhwa authors are just making story to earn their living. As a result their work seems way too corporate, filled with cliches. On the other hand I feel like mangas are a lot better in the sense that the stories feel more heartfelt. I know mangas also have clichés but it's not like how manhwas overuse the same trope again and again and again until you get sick and tired of seeing it everywhere.

Anyways if you had to recommend one BL manga (as in Japanese black and white manga not manhwa) what would it be ?

So someone made fetishizing sjw lgbt a thing and shared their experience and I have never been more disgusted than this.This is what they said in their experience. Every time I look at the question thing, it always people fighting over whether or not fujoshi's are fetishizing gay men and shit. And yes, they are, they are sexually attracted to gay men, but does that fucking matter?

Why the fuck do we care so much, people either think they do or think they don't. Despite having different views on the situation, none of us choose to respect the fact that not everyone will agree with your point of view. Instead, we choose to fight and shit.

I get it, fujoshi's get shit for fetishizing men, but for some reason, men don't? Yuri and lesbian porn are one of the most searched things on Pornhub and considered a normal porn category, yet nobody thinks it's fetishization. The double standards on this are fucking ridiculous.

At the same time, there are people who wish they were gay men so that they can be fucked or fuck another dude... like.... wtf lol don't tell me that. From the LGBTQ+ point of view, a large number(not all) of these fujoshies only care about the sex, but when it comes to actual LGBTQ+ rights, they don't really give a shit (this happens mainly in conservative countries, and I've talked to people of both sides, those that sexualize but don't care about the LGBT and those that are victims of the sexualization (ie. being shipped by fujoshi's around them with another dude)) Yet again not everyone is like that, but from the LGBTQ+ community, or even those that are not part of the community that believes that its sexualization, it can be perceived as that. And I believe the main reason they are uncomfortable with it (at least I am) is because of this.

Even then, we gotta acknowledge that yaoi, in particular, is a genre made to fetishize gay men (although shonen-ai is not). Those that are against it and those that not are choose to read yaoi, a genre that is nothing but gay sex... like come on... what did you expect. So technically, none of us are completely right, we are fighting over something that is meant to be sexualized... The authors of these stories' target demographic is fujishi's... so technically the authors are also in the wrong.
