If you search in the bar at the top of your browser, there should be an option to find that word on the page you’re currently on, so if I was trying to do what you’re doing, I’d go to the fic, choose the option that lets you see the whole thing all at once, then search in the bar for “then pretend” and then see where it is on the page.
