Ngl appearance matters a lot...... especially to men. That's the truth, a lot of people will try to deny this but look around you and you'll notice tonnes of absolutely angelic looking women have a grinch looking man. But how many attractive men have ugly girlfriends? None. You should give it a shot but don't get hurt if you get rejected.   reply

This isn't even exclusive to shounen, female characters in media that isn't specifically labelled as "for the male audience" are not good either. Read more about the "everyman" trope in films and literature, it's a character that is thoroughly relatable in situation and experiences, is often a middle class man. Besides the general icks like bad grammar, no paragraph breaks, way too short chapters, fanfiction authors abandoning their works, or the classic "guys sorry I haven't updated in a while, I got arrested for planing a coup against the government and have just broken out of prison", I hate it when the character is written way too ooc, like i understa......   2 reply
