As a canadian this is hilarious. Unless you have a garage or car shelter, not much you can do with your car. Be sure to have enough windshield wiper fluid and prepare to shovel. Do you have an ice-scraper and snow brush? You should. Also de-icer is crazy convenient I've heard

I was 14 and I worked 10 hours a day at a farmers market for way less than minimum wage cause I was getting paid under the table. I'm in college now and I've never not had a job since then. You get used to it. Just find yourself a nice coworker and ask them a shit load of questions

Never to the point of being sick just exhausted like getting a headache, crying or getting mad at everyone and when I'm really stressed about studying I start ghosting everyone in my life so that's fun for them I bet

If I'm specific to my circumstances:
1. It's a one hour and half commute by bus from my house to my college, 20 min by car but you have to pay 400$ yearly for a parking permit. They wouldn't ley me buy one anyway because I don't live far enough.
2. My program is really small. 45 people who all have class at the same time, so your schedule is pret......

When I was younger some of my friends called me Lele as a nickname. But I was a very sensitive and socially anxious child and I somehow convinced myself that they secretly hated me and were making fun of me by comparing me to a ukulele. I cried really hard about it too

I watched it but only because I was with my friends tbh. It's not really my kind of show I barely watch any romance but I still had a good time. I zoned out for all of episode 3 but I was hyped when they went public at the end. Ilya almost lost me halfway through but he redeemed himself in the final episodes I think

When they reveal that the characters actually knew each other when they were younger, maybe even best friends, but neither of them or only one remembers. Especially if it's intended as some sort of plot twist. First, it annoys me when a character is given amnesia only for plot convenience and second, it make the world of the story feel so small lik......

You're thinking too much lol. There's no "actual time." We chose 7 days week because of moon cycles and rounded up the time it takes for the earth to revolve around the sun to 24 hours. Even if we decided to divide a day into 3 hours, or made hours and minutes longer, the amount of time would be same. Animals live the same days we do. Maybe they do......

What Remains of Edith Finch is a masterpiece of a visual novel. I wouldn't even hesitate to call it a great piece of art. The way this game makes you experience these half-stories half-tales is fascinating. You just keep falling deeper and deeper until you hit the bottom and go "woah." I love the concept, the graphics, the narration, the story-tell......

Weirdly enough, I've had three different jobs before all without a real interview, including my current one at a dental clinic. I don't know if I should be relieved or worried for the day I actually have to do one

I think how you were brought up plays a part in this. Some parents accidentally teach their children that lying is preferable because telling the truth just gets them punished or yelled at. But I also think it's normal to lie as adults when to truth is embarrassing, crosses the line into over-sharing or to avoid arguments that won't lead anywhere.......

A few weeks ago during my final exams I was studying until 2 AM, sleeping 3 hours and rawdogging sleep deprivation the way god intended. Now I sleep 6 hours, drink a shit load of coffee and all I have to do is go to work 4 days a week yet I can't make it a full day without dozing off. Is this what a slept debt is?

Not to me specifically but once we were going to watch Forrest Gump in class and the teacher confidently explained to us that "he's a r******, which means he's kind of dumb." Which, beyond being uninformed, is a really bad analysis of the movie lol. Mind you that teacher was like in his 30s? Not old enough not to know better

Yes, but those laws apply to real life children. It's like saying there shouldn't be murder in novels because it's illegal in real life.
Fiction is made to safely explore some of those darker realities. People can't be punished for their thoughts, weither it remains within the realm of ideas or is put into writing format, as long as that creation ......
